As of last week, I’ve been removing the “open in new window” element from the links in each post. I’ll continue to remove that from links in this month only, and implement that for future posts. No more layers upon layers of new windows just to get files. Now the simple “back” will be sufficient.

UPDATE: As of the year 2010, Vodhin’s RCT3 Community Pages have returned.
Vodhin has created a page for all of his personal RCT related files. Don’t fret, the site will return, just give it time. As it is now, upon reopening, the new rct pages will include ONLY his files until further notice, but he does have an entire backup of the previous site (no files were lost). Do not link directly to the files, but the page itself is okay. This will only be up until the site is restored fully.

Attention: For those of you who regularly visit www.vodhin.org, his site has temporarily gone offline to remedy an issue involving malware from the site. The site became infected a few days ago and Vodhin is doing everything he can to ensure the site comes back online as soon as possible. Be patient, and please don’t pester him about when it will be up.
A big thanks goes out to Vodhin for his generous hosting for all the scenery, rides, parks, and other miscellaneous downloads on his website. So again, thank you Vodhin from myself and the rest of the RCT community for keeping such a great site with countless valuable resources.

This seven piece concert light kit is a great addition to the Kustom Koncert Stage set, posted a few weeks ago. Lights and beams are 12H, and are individually recolorable.

Attention: any posts containing links to the German RCT site www.rct-3.org will not work. Their database has become corrupted and the backup could not be restored. So until further notice, anything linking to their site download wise, will not work. The site works, but is currently being repopulated.
If you have any links to these, please leave them in the comments and I will update the site accordingly.
This is the list of rides I know off the top of my head that give a download error.
Any others please leave in the comments for everyone else to make note of.

Recently, there has been a bit of tuning up under the hood of the site. A few broken links have been fixed, a few more articles added, along with other miniscule changes to the layout you probably haven’t even noticed.
Now included in the single posts (when you click on them) are related articles to other scenery items/ctrs/cfrs/etc. in the same “tagging” category as listed. Hopefully this will help spread the work of the creators in a more efficient manner.
Also, the contact page has been updated to include a brief synopsis of how the site operates. Nothing by my own personal work is hosted here, and it will stay that way, unless there are some extenuating circumstances, or someone really needs to be hosted – when all other options aren’t available. Advertising rates have been lowered to $10/mo., based on the ratio of hits to content. Go read the contact page if you’re interested in that.
I’d also like to make note of link sharing and approval for posting about individual’s objects. If there is an issue, please email me if you have a problem with the posts, I will gladly take them down at your request.

The site upgrade went more smoothly than I expected. There is however an image linking problem. I’ll work that out another day.
-For now, all posts prior to this one have images hosted on the old server. [FIXED!]
-Hotlinking to posts now should be more beneficial, since its at RCTDB.com/ARTICLE instead of the other ugly URL.
-For those of you that have inbound links, I strongly suggest you edit them, as of now, the redirects don’t like to move to articles, just the homepage – sorry.
-The email system has been updated as well.
